Rainbow Marzipan Cupcakes with Mushrooms

So the other day, my girlfriend Kayte and our mutual comrade Emily randomly decided that the time had come to make some rainbow marzipan cupcakes with mushrooms on them.
Not only were they quite possibly the coolest things ever, but they were also super delicious. And the spectacle of such a thing is too good not to share.
